Sherry E Tournear

     Sherry E. Tournear, 66, of rural Clayton, died at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

     Born October 2, 1956, in Quincy, Sherry was the daughter of Robert and Betty J. Angell Tournear.                                      

     Sherry was employed as an office manager most recently with Energy Efficient Builders in Camp Point, retiring in 2020.

     She had a passion for dogs, especially her beloved "Bear".

     Survivors include her brother, Michael Tournear (Kayelynn), Camp Point; two sisters, Trish Gilker, Quincy, and Connie Woosley, Rockdale, TX.;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Roy "Junior" Junk; and two brothers, Gary and Frankie Tournear.

     Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point by Rev. Sheri Renner. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Camp Point.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
