Robert Patrick Heather Sr.

 Robert Patrick Heather Sr., 71, of Clayton, passed away at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

 Born July 15, 1952, in Des Moines, Iowa, Bob was the son of Joseph and Margaret C. Goodwin Heather. He married Bobbie D. Sparks. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2014. He then joined Lori Dianne Cunningham in civil union.

 Bob was a simple, loyal, family man raising communities of children throughout his life. He was known as a "Jack of all trades", working in carpentry.

 Surviving is his wife, Lori Diane Heather; his daughter, Regina Marie Heather; two sons, Adam Heather (Mariah) and Robert Patrick Heather Jr.; his two stepdaughters, Cassie Cunningham, and Chandre Cunningham (Jeffrey Burgett); his grandchildren, James Heather, Shana Allen, Brandon Heather, Cassie Randolph, Erik Heather, Anthony Szuflita, Jeffrey Heather, Destiny Heather, Abbie Heather, Molly Heather, Sabastian Heather (Hayle), Dorian Heather, Alia Heather, Olivus Rocklon Heather, Cannon Savior Heather, Axle Cunningham, John Burgett, Jocelyn Burgett, and Braxton Dorsey; his sister, Jodi (Jesse) Wortham; two brothers, David Heather, and John Heather; his sister in law, Donna Heather; his nieces and nephews, Bonnie (Larry) Crook, Daniel Sparks, Franny Crook, Anita (Bobby) Jobe, Renee Wortham, Karen Wortham, Jesse Lee Wortham Jr., Jacob Heather, John Heather Jr., Jesse Lee Wortham III, Ethan Delavin, Ginny, Teddie Jr., and numerous others. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brother, Ted Heather.

 Bob was cremated. A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton.

 Memorials may be made to the family, the Quincy YMCA, or the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.
