Randy Shepler

Randy L. Shepler, 64, of Augusta, IL passed away at 12:00 am Saturday July 8, 2023 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

He was born on February 18, 1959 in Aledo, IL to Henry James and Martha Ann Brown Shepler. He married Cindy Allen on December 15, 2012 in Plymouth, IL. She survives.

Randy was a 1977 graduate of Southeastern High School in Augusta, IL He was employed at Wayland Ready Mix and Concrete in Macomb, IL. Randy was a member of the former Crooked Creek Tractor Club and enjoyed hunting, cooking for his friends and family and being with his beloved dog, Benson.

He is survived along with his wife, Cindy, by a daughter; Trisha Shepler of Macomb, IL, a sister; Ellen (Bob) VanNatta of Ipava, IL, 2 grandsons; Dakota and Zachary Shepler,2 stepsons; Chad (Erin) Phelps of Colmar, IL and Travis (Megan) Kane of Arkansas and numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Shepler.

Cremation will be accorded. A memorial graveside service will be held at 9:00 am Saturday July 22, 2023 at Woodlawn cemetery in Augusta, IL with Rev Tom Spain officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to his wife, Cindy Shepler.
