Patricia Rash

Patricia Ann “Pat” Rash,78, of Plymouth, IL passed away at 1:39 pm Thursday July 25, 2024 in the Golden Good Shepherd Home in Golden, Illinois.

She was born on September 29, 1945 in Augusta, IL to Charles and Carrie McClain Whitford. She married James R. Rash on December 21, 1962 in Augusta, IL. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2005.

 Pat attended Augusta, Il schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Plymouth and the Plymouth Women’s Circle. Pat loved helping and doing for others her whole life, she had an infectious smile and laugh and could just make your day with her vibrant, positive and upbeat outlook in life, but her most cherished times were those she could spend with her family.

 She is survived by 2 daughters, Teresa (Chris) Shappell of Carthage, IL Lisa (Burdette) Rosendale of Augusta, IL , 2 sons Tim Rash of Keokuk, IA and Todd (Angie) Rash of Macomb, IL 3 grandchildren Lynnea (Justin) Blackburn of Monticello, IL Amanda (Paul) West of Farmington, IL and Jared Shappell of Eureka, MO, 5 great-grandchildren, Pemberly, Hudson and Hezekiah Blackburn and Evelyn and Lucy West, 1 brother, Larry (Darla) Whitford of Plymouth, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, John and Bob Whitford and a sister, Ruby Glissen.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, July 29, 2024 at St. Mary’s cemetery near Plymouth, IL by Pastor Mark Gilliland. There will be no formal visitation but friends may view and sign the register from Noon until 7:00 Sunday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Good Shepherd Home.
