JoAnne Miller

Marjorie JoAnne Miller, 94, of the Timber Point Healthcare Center in Camp Point, IL, formerly of 630 Pawn Avenue, Quincy. IL, 62305. passed away Wednesday (February 12, 2025) at the home.

Born December 9, 1930 in Quincy, she was the daughter of Marjorie Campbell and Russell Daugherty.

JoAnne married Donald E. Miller, March 12, 1948 in Palmyra, MO. Joanne had 3 sons, Steve of Quincy, Max (Mary Lou) of Columbus, IL, and Greg of Quincy. One sister, Nancy White (Conard) of Dawtaw Island, SC. Five grandchildren; Brant (Stacy) of Quincy, Amanda (Mike) of Clarksville, TN, Brandon (Ashley) Van Camp of Quincy, Damian Miller of Quincy, and Erica Miller of Quincy. JoAnne had 11 great-grandchildren. 

JoAnne was proceeded in death by her parents, one brother William Daugherty, a nephew Mike Daugherty, a grandson Joshua Miller, and her husband Donald Miller-June 16, 2020.

JoAnne loved going to her husband, Don's high school basketball games, as he coached basketball for many years. Most of all, JoAnne loved taking care of her family and home.

There will be no services.

The Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point is handling the arrangements.
