Larry Burton

Larry Dean Burton, 56, of Plymouth died at 11:38 am Saturday December 12, 2020 at Carthage Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL.

He was born on December 1, 1964 in Macomb, IL to Billy and Dorotha Braun Burton. He married Michelle Brush on February 14, 1998 in Plymouth, IL. She survives.

Larry was a 1982 graduate of Plymouth High School. He was a truck driver for Todd Thompson Trucking of Plymouth. Larry enjoyed the outdoors and playing pool, but his favorite times were being with his family and friends around his campfires.

He is survived by 2 sons; Shawn (Caty) Burton and Jamie Maxwell of Plymouth, IL, 2 daughters, Sara (Michael) Inman and Alexis (Tad) Kinne of Plymouth, IL, 7 grandchildren, Addisyn and Ayden Inman, Naomie and Kasen Kinne and Sofia, Aliyah and Gracelynn Burton, a sister, Judy (Dick) Martin of Macomb, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gene Burton and a sister, Phyllis Hale.

Cremation has been accorded. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday December 17, 2020 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
