Kelly Cookson

     Kelly Cookson, 48, of Quincy, died Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
     Born May 9, 1973, in Quincy, Kelly was a daughter of Lyle Wayne and Patricia  Eagan Cookson.
     Kelly graduated from Liberty High School in 1991. She had been employed at St. Vincent’s in Quincy for 17 years.
     Survivors are two sons, Stephen Loos and Delante Hicks, of Quincy; two grandchildren, Lilly Loos, Taylorville, IL. and Erick Loos, Quincy; her mother, Patricia Cookson; her siblings, Mike Cookson, Rock Island, IL, Sue Scheiter (Curt), Brownsville, KY, and Reva Walker (Jeff), Quincy.
     She was preceded in death by her father, and a sister in law, Melanie Cookson
     Kelly was cremated. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point.
