Eunice Rose

     Eunice Marie (Wilkinson) Rose, 82, of Quincy IL, formerly of Clayton passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21st, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, at Blessing Hospital.
     Eunice was born to Lloyd and Lavinia Wilkinson on March 20th, 1940 in Ainsworth, Nebraska.
     Survivors include her daughters, Linda McGartland of Quincy IL, and Lola Close of Des Moines IA.; grandsons Michael McCarty (Dana Cornett) of Quincy IL, and Jason Close of Des Moines IA.; granddaughters Paula McCarty of Quincy IL, Jenny (David) Espeland of Des Moines IA, and Amanda McCarty of Quincy IL, and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn Corporon of Kingsland TX, and brother Charles (Etta) Wilkinson of Albany MO as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
     Eunice adored and greatly enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter Aubri McCarty.
     She was proceeded in death by her parents, infant brother Lloyd, sisters Lois, Dorothea, and her beloved son David Hill.
     Private family burial will be at a later date.
