Doris Robbins

Doris Robbins, 98, of Heritage Manor in Mt. Sterling, formerly of Clayton, died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the home.
Born December 9, 1922, in Pipestone, MN., Doris was a daughter of William and Helen Wallace Hill. She married Verle P. Robbins. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1983.
Doris had been employed as a nurse's aide in the area nursing homes for several years.
Survivors include four sons, Richard (Kay) Robbins, Caseyville, IL., Harlan (Rita) Robbins, Clayton, Jerry (Debbie) Robbins, Caseyville, and Kevin (Betty Jo) Robbins, Clayton; a son in law, Barry (Lin) Oberling, Edwardsburg, MI.; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and two daughters, Barbara Roy and Karen Oberling.
Private family services will be held Friday, (January 8, 2021) at 1:00 P.M. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton by Rev. Sherri Renner.  Burial will follow at South Side Cemetery, Clayton.
Private family visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the time of private services at the funeral home.
