Doran Drake

Doran D. Drake, 62, of Plymouth, IL died at 9:30 am Saturday June 3, 2023 at his home.

He was born on July 23, 1960 in Carthage, IL to Floyd “Duck” and Doris Douglas Drake.  He married Kimberly Lewallen on March 4, 2006 in Blandinsville, IL. She survives.

Doran was a 1978 graduate of Plymouth High School and attended Carl Sandburg College. He had last been employed at Whalen Manufacturing in Macomb, IL.

He is survived by a daughter, Caitlin (Chad) Bostic of Plymouth, IL, a son, Dallas Drake of Plymouth, IL, 2 stepsons, Dakota and Dalton Lewallen of Plymouth, IL, 2 grandchildren, Griffin Schoonover and Nora Bostic of Plymouth, IL, 4 sisters, Donna Drake of Quincy, IL, Darla (Larry) Whitford of Plymouth, IL, Debbie Parks of Carthage, IL, Jet Drake of Winnetka, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Dick and Danny Drake.

Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services held at this time.

The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
