Donald Lewis "Eagle" Grider

Donald Lewis (Eagle) Grider, was born December 7, 1956 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Bethel and Betty (Bryant) Grider. He died December 27, 2024 in Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Illinois. 

Eagle graduated from Royal Oak Dondero with the class of 1975 and served his country in the United States Navy from 1976 - 1980. Eagle loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycles, play pool and spend time with his friends and family.

He will be sadly missed by his stepchildren, Vanessa Smith (Larry), Terry Yates and Edward Brown (Kassie) and his grandchildren Elysa, Maddalynn, Owen, Nicole and Cody all of Clayton, Illinois. Eagle is survived by his Brother David (Doriene) Grider of Berkley, MI and sister Joyce (Damon) Mendoza of Tucson, AZ. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents John and Etta May Bryant, and his brother, James Carson Grider.

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no funeral or visitation, but a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
