Bill Green

William R. "Bill" Green, 83, of Camp Point, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Born March 20, 1938, in Schuyler County, Illinois, Bill was the son of Robert and Mildred Reagan Green. He married Wilma Norris on June 14, 1957, at the Camp Point Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Green was employed at the Electric Wheel Division of Firestone as a welder, retiring in 1981. He then operated Green Autobody in Camp Point for many years.
Bill loved gardening, flowers, feeding his birds, and tinkering on old cars. He was a member of the Camp Point Assembly of God Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are their children; Randy Green (Kelly), Havana, IL., Becky Bobier (David), Quincy, and Jeff Green (Melanie), Clayton; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Ann Sullens, Canton, MO., and Peggy Kaeshamer, Camp Point; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Dingerson
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 8 at the Camp Point Assembly of God by Pastor Mike Gocke. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Camp Point,  Illinois.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Camp Point Assembly of God Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Camp Point Assembly of God Church.
