Arlene Mabel Gerdes, 83, of Camp Point, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Born March 1, 1941, in Golden, IL, Arlene was the daughter of Edward and Minnie Mueller Albert.
Arlene was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed reading and quilting.
Survivors include her children, Roger Gerdes, Golden, Alan Gerdes and his wife Dianna, Camp Point, and Tammy Gerdes, Camp Point; her grandchildren, Nicole Feldkamp (fiance' Hunter), Matt Gerdes (fiance' Brandi), Andrew Gerdes (fiance' Chelsea), Daina Howell (Danny), Daniel White (Lacy), and Daven White (Abby) 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; her brother, James (Jim) Albert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter-in-law, Paula Gerdes; four sisters, Lois Zahn, Mary Ann Hahn, Olivine (Ollie) McCafferty, and Catherine Bienhoff; and two brothers, Elmer Albert, and Robert (Bob) Albert
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. Burial will follow at Golden Memorial Gardens, Golden, IL.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
