Alice F Stewart

Alice Fern Stewart, 91, of Camp Point, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her favorite people at 9:50 pm Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Born June 6, 1933, in Prescott, KS, Alice was a daughter of Roy and Elsa Woods Moss. She married Robert Lee Stewart on January 13, 1954, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1984.

Alice graduated from Pleasanton High School in Pleasanton, KS. She was a lifelong member of Madison Park Christian Church in Quincy.

Alice loved her family very much and especially enjoyed helping raise and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very kind, loving, and caring person. She donated to many organizations and always had a smile on her face. She gave the best hugs, and you could always count on her to be there for you. She was known as the "Weather Lady" to many and shared many evening sunsets with her family.

Survivors include two daughters: Linda Herren (Jerry) and Marsha Lawhorn (Steve); six grandchildren: Lenae Wiskirchen (Tyler), Luke Lish (Leia), Sarah Lawrence (Eric), Crystal Wright (Josh), Jared Herren (Felicia), and Yvonne Graham; seventeen great-grandchildren; Zakila, Daxton, Haylee, Breyhar, Ella, Jaiden, Vadah, Chloe, Liam, Kellan, Londynn, Hunter, Abbigail, Ryan, Georgia, Raylan, and Miles; and a great great grandson, Karteir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Stewart; her son, Terry Lee "Cub" Stewart; her parents, Roy and Elsa Moss; her brother and sister-in-law, Harley and Evelyn Moss, and her brother, Charles Stewart.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Grandview Burial Park, 11116 US-61, Hannibal, MO 63401.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 16, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
